Four ways — the right one for every situation

Phoenix is always mixed with hot water. After that, there are four different methods depending on the problem and material. You choose the appropriate one—the enzyme potency remains the same in every case.

WEG 01

As cleaning water

Ideal for cleaning large areas such as floors, kitchens, bathrooms, and work surfaces. Use like ordinary cleaning water and wipe.

Dosage: 1 g per 1 liter
WEG 02

For spraying on

Spray directly onto stains and odor sources. Ideal for upholstery, carpets, car seats, and spot treatment.

Dosage: 20 g per 1 liter · max. 40°C in sprayer
WAY 03

Apply wet-on-wet

For deep-seated odors in absorbent materials. Thoroughly wet the material and leave to work for 24–48 hours. Do not allow to dry beforehand.

Dosage: 20 g per 1 liter · Contact time 24–48 h
WEG 04

In the washing machine

Pour Phoenix directly into the powder compartment or dissolve it before adding it to the main wash cycle. Wash at temperatures from 60°C. No pre-washing required.

Dosage: 20 g per wash cycle · from 60°C

Enzyme cleaner application for every area

Six categories, one cleaner. Phoenix works wherever organic soiling is deeply embedded — biologically, gently on materials, permanently.

AREA 01

Pet urine & pet odor

Cat urine, dog odor, birdcage, terrarium. Enzymes break down uric acid crystals deep within the material.

AREA 02

Upholstery, mattress & textiles

Sofa, armchair, mattress, carpet. Not washable, but enzymatically deep-cleanable. Permanently eliminates odors.

AREA 03

Oil, Concrete & Outdoor

Oil stains on paving stones, concrete, garage floors. Green growth, moss stains. Deeply cleaned enzymatically.

AREA 04

Hygiene & Care

Incontinence products, dentures, bed linen, sportswear. Professional, reliable, and gentle on materials.

AREA 05

Car seats & vehicle detailing

Dog odor, urine, vomit. Apply enzymes first, then use a wet vacuum. Suitable for cars to trucks.

AREA 06

Commercial & Professional Application

Machine cleaning, degreasing, facades, solar panels, escalators. Available in bulk containers.

Here's how to proceed — in 4 steps

The standard Phoenix application in four steps. Works the same for all four application methods — you adjust the quantities and exposure times depending on the task.

1

Mix the granules

Dissolve 20 g of Phoenix completely in 250 ml of hot water (60–80°C). Top up with cold water to 1 to 1.5 liters. The heat activates the enzymes.

2

Apply

Apply the solution to the soiling — wipe as cleaning water, spray on in spots using a sprayer, or thoroughly wet in case of deep odors.

3

Let absorb

5 to 30 minutes for normal soiling. 24 to 48 hours for stubborn odors. The enzymes need time to work—do not allow to dry beforehand.

4

Remove

Wipe clean, rinse, or vacuum with a wet vacuum cleaner. Odor and stain are permanently removed.

The correct dosage for every application

Phoenix is a concentrated granule solution and can be portioned precisely as needed. The standard Phoenix dosage is 20 g per 1 liter of water. The surfactants are ≥90% biodegradable according to OECD.

Frequently asked questions about enzyme cleaner application

The most frequently asked questions — answered briefly and factually.

How do I dose Phoenix Enzymreiniger correctly?
Phoenix Standard: 20 g of granules per 1 liter of water. For cleaning large areas, 1 g per liter is sufficient. For intensive applications such as cat urine, always mix fresh for maximum enzyme potency. The solution remains at full strength for 48 hours and is ready for use for up to 20 days.
Can I use Phoenix on all materials?
Yes Phoenix is suitable for all water-resistant materials: textiles, upholstery, floors, tiles, plastic, metal, and wood. Test on an inconspicuous area first on genuine leather and delicate natural materials. Phoenix is gentle on materials at pH 8.5–9.0 and contains no bleach.
How long will the mixed solution last?
Full enzyme power for 48 hours, ready for use for up to 20 days. For heavy soiling such as cat urine or vomit, we recommend mixing fresh for maximum effectiveness.
Is Phoenix safe for children and pets?
Yes Phoenix is not subject to GHS labeling requirements, is biodegradable (surfactants ≥90% according to OECD), has a water hazard class of 1, and is gentle on materials at pH 8.5–9.0. Suitable for the food industry according to an expert opinion by Dr. Mang (Chemical Laboratory Frankfurt). Keep out of reach of children and animals—even though there is no immediate danger, children and animals should not have direct access to the product.
What are the possible applications?
Four: as cleaning water for floors and surfaces, as a sprayer for spot treatment of upholstery and car seats, wet-on-wet for deep-seated odors in absorbent materials, and in the washing machine from 60°C via the powder compartment.
Why does Phoenix need to be mixed with hot water?
Because of the gel coating. Phoenix granules have a gel coating that protects the enzymes until they are activated. Hot water (60–80°C) dissolves this coating and fully activates the enzymes. After mixing, the solution can be used warm, lukewarm, or cold. Always use cold on bloodstains and red wine stains—heat will permanently set these stains.
Safety notice: Keep out of reach of children and animals. Even if there is no danger, children and animals should not have direct access to the product.
