Why organic universal cleaners with enzymes work better than those with surfactants
Enzymes break down organic compounds biocatalytically — surfactants only dissolve them and wash them away.
Classic all-purpose cleaners work with Surfactants — Substances that lower the surface tension of water and loosen dirt so it can be washed away. This works for loosely adhering dirt. It does not work for organic substrate that is deeply embedded in the material.

For stains that are weeks or months old, a single spray is often insufficient. Apply Phoenix solution generously, cover with cling film, and leave to work for 4 to 8 hours. The film prevents evaporation, allowing the enzymes to work undisturbed deep within the stain. Then, wipe up while still wet and vacuum.

Using Phoenix Universal Cleaner — step by step
- Pre-cleaning: Remove loose debris (crumbs, dust, litter).
- Mixing: Dissolve 20 g of Phoenix granules in 1 liter of lukewarm water (35–40°C) in a pressure sprayer for 2 minutes. For pressure washers, add the same concentration to the clean water tank.
- Spray on: Spray the Phoenix solution generously onto the surface or apply it with a cloth.
- Effects: 15 to 30 minutes for normal soiling. For dried-on dirt, 4 to 8 hours of occlusion (cling film).
- Wipe clean: Remove with a clean cloth or, for upholstery/carpets, use a spray extraction vacuum cleaner.
- Rinse: When used on food contact surfaces, rinse with clean water (rinsing is mandatory according to expert opinion by Dr. Mang).

What is the dosage?
The standard dosage is 20g of granules per 1 liter of lukewarm water at 35–40°C. For more stubborn dirt, you can increase the concentration to up to 40g per liter. 1kg of granules yields 50 liters of ready-to-use solution — also suitable for pressure washers (same concentration in the clean water tank).
